Sai Gon (Ho Chi Minh city) to Phan Thiet train

Due to operational changes, the SPT2 and SPT1 trains will stop running temporarily between Ho Chi Minh and Phan Thiet from Monday to Thursday, starting March 1, 2023, until further notice. They will operate normally on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

  • The SPT2 train departs on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • The SPT1 train departs on Saturdays and Sundays.

The railway from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) Station to Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan Province) Station is approximately 187 kilometers long. The SPT2 train runs daily, taking about 4 hours to travel from Saigon to Phan Thiet and back. Seat types include hard seats, soft seats, hard berths (6 berths in a cabin), and soft berths (4 berths in a cabin). All carriages and cabins, from soft seat to soft berth types, are air-conditioned for a comfortable journey. It takes about 20 km from Phan Thiet to Mui Ne by taxi.

Alternatively, you can take the Reunification Express trains (SE trains) to Binh Thuan Station via this link: Train from Muong Man to Ho Chi Minh City. Muong Man is also located in Binh Thuan Province, and you can reach this station by taxi, which is approximately 40 km from Mui Ne.

    • Address: 1 Le Duan, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province

CHILDREN PRICES

  • Children under 6 years old: Free travel.
  • Children from 6 years old: 100% of the adult price.
  • Note: Each adult may only travel with one child under these conditions.

BAGGAGES

  • Carry-on Bags: The train cabins are allowed to carry baggages which do not exceed the weight limitation of 20 kgs of adults and 10 kgs of children. The baggages must be wrapped neatly and reliably.
